Your Role


As a Merchandiser Representative for our Special Projects tactical team, you will execute in-store projects (moves, redevelopments, product promotions, etc.) for customers of our Merchandising Solutions division in hardware stores.



Your tasks and responsibilities


As a Merchandiser Representative, you:
  • Execute special projects with the team.
  • Market products by placing new arrivals and merchandise in stock on previously cleaned shelves and displays and do storefronts (facing), according to planograms;
  • Rotate products and merchandise on the shelves and sort damaged products, if applicable;
  • Identifies marketing opportunities through techniques such as cross-merchandising, mass merchandising, etc. ;
  • Install and maintain the demonstrators;
  • Create daily reports, including taking photos of the work done, through our mobile application;
  • Maintain excellent relations with the managers of the stores visited;
  • Perform various special mandates at the request of our clients (demonstrations, audits, etc.).

Requirements Have an intermediate-advanced level of written and spoken English; Have intermediate knowledge of the Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams); Be comfortable with operational platforms; Have a minimum of one year experience in the field of merchandising; Knowledge of the retail environment; Be able to lift 50 pounds or less without mechanical assistance; Possess a vehicle and a valid class 5 driver’s license to be able to travel for work; Be comfortable traveling regularly for several days in a row across British Columbia (hotels, per diem for meals and travel).
