Position Overview:
LawDepot.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Marketing Writer - Email in Edmonton, Alberta. Working with the Marketing Department you will be responsible for developing strategic email campaigns to engage and retain customers. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, organize, and execute email campaigns for our customer list
- Identify and push for improvements to make our email creation process more efficient and impactful
- Write engaging email content to attract and retain new and existing customers
- Create A/B tests on subject lines, email content, and promotions to optimize email strategies
- Analyze key performance indicators based on open rate, click-through rate, and conversion
- Work with Product Owners and other departments to determine email send times and frequency
- Coordinate with Data Analysts to develop improved tracking and reporting systems
- Analyze campaign performance to suggest improvements and generate new ideas
- Keep up to date with latest email marketing trends and strategies
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Writing, or a related field
- Experience with email marketing and email marketing tools (Mautic, MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, Hubspot, Drip, etc.)
- Effective written communication and copywriting abilities
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of HTML would be an asset
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Google Analytics
- Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends and strategies
