Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Global/US Marketing team in the day-to-day management and delivery of the brand strategy, creative direction and annual marketing plans. You will contribute to driving awareness and recognition to an extensive portfolio of brands through B2B and B2C channels, with a focus on tradeshows, social media, and marketing communications. In this role, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new and existing go-to-market objectives including, sales, PR, brand, and digital teams. The ideal candidate embraces a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, takes ownership of projects, and loves to keep up with the latest trends in marketing and in the toy industry. Core responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing 360 brand strategies across multiple brands (promotional campaigns, social media, influencer marketing, tradeshows, and more)
  • Provide competitive analyses, campaign results, industry news & trends reports
  • Organize and participate in marketing brainstorming sessions to share industry news and best practices and learnings
  • Lead, improve and act as a brand ambassador for all tradeshows (travel & booth logistics, booth designs, marketing assets, product selection and shipments, etc.)
  • Build, coordinate and put together brand presentations to showcase new launches and promotional campaigns
  • Participate actively in the content creation process (brainstorms, briefs, follow-ups) and work closely with the creative team
  • Act as project manager on shop-in-shop initiatives (manage budget, logistics, designs, timelines, etc.)
  • Manage marketing samples for influencer mailers, buyers, and partnerships
  • Work closely with all members of the marketing team on multiple projects, and any administrative tasks that may be required Skills and qualifications
  • 3+ years of work experience in marketing or any related field
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French
  • Creative and analytical individual that thinks outside the box
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to details
