Prime Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and trend analysis, develop and implement marketing strategies, programs and brand promotion plans.
  • Implement promotional campaigns and promotions and analyze marketing campaign performance.
  • Collect and design marketing materials, write or review website content and press releases, and ensure regular and strategic distribution.
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients and acquire new clients.
  • Attend external meetings and events to promote awareness, engagement and collaboration.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in all activities.
  • Participate in the company’s strategic planning process and provide feedback in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Formal relevant education is not required, but preference will be given to those with relevant experience in business development, brand development, client management, and client acquisition.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including editorial skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Polite, honest and trustworthy, demonstrating a good work ethic.
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Ottawa, Ontario. Reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work.

Education.

  • High school.
  • Additional certification or training is an asset.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English. Ability to speak Chinese (required).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
