Job Overview

Reporting to the Regional Logistics Manager (RLM), our Logistics Success Manager is responsible for achieving outstanding partner satisfaction as they manage the market’s day-to-day logistics operations.

Logistics Success Managers work with the Marketplace Operations Centre (MOC), Logistics Managers, Sales Managers, and other members of the GoFor team to support our day-to-day operations in our markets. Working directly with owner/operators and our fleet business partners, you will provide onboarding services, training, PPE, and vehicle quality control spot checks and provide field-level troubleshooting of any operations issues to ensure their services align with GoFor standards. LSMs will oversee transaction reconciliation and ensure our service level targets are met.

Ultimately, Logistics Success Managers will ensure their area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

The position starts each day from 6-9am in our warehouse in Richmond overseeing the pick-up of deliveries.

In this role as a Logistics Success Manager, you will primarily:

• Provide value-added analysis, context, and support to key stakeholders and cross-functional partners through clear and effective communication with RLM and MOC.
• Wellness checks for new and existing independent owner/operators, fleet operators.
• Provide support for independent owner/operators, fleet operators in their daily operations to ensure GoFor standards are met and identify the need for retraining.
• Manage daily operations to quality standards and KPIs and complete deliveries when necessary.
• Be onsite for specialty vehicle orders or new pilots and always be looking for efficiencies and ways to improve our service levels.
• Provide subject matter expert insight (be the drivers’ voice) to other functional teams across the business and representative for all of operations as it relates to fulfillment and availability-related projects within the market.
• Implement procedures and directives from logistics management/executive team.
• Develop and optimize processes to ensure all function-related objectives are met continuously and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring high levels of efficiency, quality, and effective completion of transactions.
• Complete wellness checks with merchants (and get to know their staff, facilities, etc.) to ensure our customers’ satisfaction with our on-demand delivery capabilities.

Education & Experience:

3+ years of experience in logistics

Experience in the construction industry and last-mile delivery would be considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities:

• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety and PPE;
• Strong knowledge of dispatch;
• Leadership skills to manage independent owner/operators and fleet operators;
• Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions within a data-driven environment is crucial to success;
• Exceptional planning and prioritizing skills;
• Great verbal communication and writing skills;
• Strong ability to strategize and plan;
• Ability to be proactive and oversee upcoming challenges;
• Strong time management skills;
• Ability to travel locally up to 70% of the time, to work a flexible schedule, and adjust to business needs;
• Ability to work in collaboration with other teams/functions;
• Be able to take direction and feedback and be able to run with it and communicate your progress.
