Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations, facilitating effective communication between vendors, drivers, customers etc. and maintaining a streamlined workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to arrange and optimize transportation and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and evaluate logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners to ensure service excellence.
• Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of drivers, helpers, and warehouse workers.
• Support the onboarding process by providing training and guidance to new hires.
• Assist with any ad hoc duties assigned by the manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to optimize storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
• Address any logistics-related issues promptly and proactively implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
