What’s the job?

The Lending Transformation Analyst works within the Centre of Excellence that supports interconnectivity and integrated systems in the Salesforce environment. This is a s shared services model supporting all business lines and cross functional groups across the enterprise. Key aspects of this role involve translating business requirements into detailed functions and specifications to fully leverage the platform and support all internal lines of business (Retail Banking, Contact Centre, Small Business, Commercial/Real Estate, Lending Operation and Credit Approvals) and all cross functional supporting areas (Marketing, Risk, Operations, Compliance, ETS, Finance and HR/Training). The Lending Transformation Analyst will develop and grow expert level Salesforce platform skills to act as a key resource for all internal business lines and departments. Working in partnership with all stakeholders, this role will identify best practices and recommendations for the automation of workflows, business process integrations, application development, deployment and ongoing enhancements of the Salesforce platforms and associated enterprise applications.

What You’ll Get To Do
  • Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with all lines of business to understand and support and business requirements. Recommend and implement development solutions to improve sales practices and create efficiencies through automated workflows.
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with business line leaders and end user stakeholders to surface ongoing dialogue, resolve or escalate issues, conflicts or concerns for the prioritization of system enhancement requests.
  • Maintain, critically review and update naming conventions throughout the network supporting all business lines and departmental picklists, reporting folders and dashboards with the goal to improve system usability and scalability
  • Manage system access, profiles and role hierarchy and handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports, dashboards and workflows.
  • Manages user set up and security group assignments as required.
  • In concert with Credit Approvals Dept. manages and maintains credit authority levels.
  • Responsible for capturing learnings and feedback from each successive system release to provide leadership and recommendations to support the progressive evolvement and adoption of the platform across the Enterprise.
  • Responsible for the Completion of nCino Community & nCino University related courses.
  • Completion of Salesforce ADM 201/ ADM 211 / ADM 301 and all ongoing learning (Trailhead and other) to sustain expert level understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform and how it integrates with core source systems internal to Coast Capital.
  • Responsible for assessing the impact of new requirements on nCino/Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes. Prepares documentation for system enhancements.
  • Responsible for Coordinating the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests from business lines and supporting departments internally.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements and automations to optimize operational and support efficiencies.
  • Responsible for the successful Configuration of nCino/Salesforce platform objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation across business lines to adapt internal process to align with nCino/Salesforce functionality
  • Works with nCino Business Solution Manager and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to turn business requirements into meaningful and insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Participates in the software testing process, which includes devising and documenting test plans, creating test cases, and coordinating quality assurance testing.
  • Exhibits integral leadership in positively promoting the organizations vision and direction while being an effective change leader. Required to effectively manage relationships up, down and across the enterprise.
  • Responsible for driving approved business cases through project delivery including defining business, product and systems requirements, creating user stories, managing vendor relationships, facilitating procurement processes and contract reviews.
  • Supports collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), system architects and programmers, and Salesforce to create user storyboards and visual wireframes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to prepare member and staff product content, as well as Go-to-Market Marketing and Staff Communication Plans. Includes content editor for nCino Program MyCoast page.
  • Works closely with Coast U and all business lines to develop training plans and curriculum. Creates user guides that support feature roll outs.
  • In conjunction with Coast U assists in training new users and ongoing development of end user skill sets for use of the platform across the organization.
  • Initiates and leads ongoing enhancements though collaborating with third-party vendors.
Who are we looking for?
  • 4+ years of experience as a Saleforce.com administrator. Equal experience in a similar analytical role will be considered.
  • Bachelor degree in IT, Business, Communications or similar
  • Will be required to take Salesforce training ADM 201/ ADM 211 / ADM 301and achieve a highly competent level of practice as well as Completion of nCino Community & nCino University related courses.
  • Solid general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and apply mobile device knowledge to a business environment.
  • A good understanding of how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Ability to multitask, and commit to meeting targets, with competing priorities, deadlines across multiple stakeholders and manage laterally and upwards
  • Self-starter and reliable team player, capable of demonstrating the ability to learn quickly
  • The ability to work independently with users to define concepts and provide recommendations to align with overall corporate strategic direction and purpose.
  • Strong analytical skills: Can effectively utilize data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Initiative: Works effectively with limited supervision and within established authorities; is proactive in identifying and pursuing tasks with energy, drive, and a need to “finish”; knows when and what to refer for guidance and/or approval
  • Decision maker; Makes good decisions, in a timely manner, based on analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to present at all levels from working committee to Executive
