The Opportunity
Pro Paint is seeking a HSE Coordinator/Trainer & Recruiter to join our fast-paced, growing team!
This position is based in our Red Deer County office and will be reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager. If you are looking for your next step in a progressive career, enjoy working in a team environment, and strive for excellence, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site, shop and field HSE audits.
- Completing inspections on equipment.
- Planning, coordinating and issuing in-house training and competencies.
- Booking, coordinating 3rd party training.
- Hosting safety meetings.
- Administrative tasks.
- Active recruiting of new employees.
- Onboarding of new employees.
- Assisting with COR audits.
- Assisting with the development an coordination of the HSE program.
- Maintaining relationships with employees.
Qualifications & Professional Experience
- 3+ years of HSE experience.
- CSTS-2020, SFA, H2S, Fall Pro, CSE, Equipment Operator experience an asset.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and the ability to lead HSE programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage workload independently.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented.
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of project professionals, maintain high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
Other Requirements & Information
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean drivers abstract & ability to travel as required.
- Office and/or site visits required at an approx. 80/20 ratio.
