Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. When it comes to integral, transferable business skills, it doesn’t get much more valuable than hands-on Supply Chain experience. Cavendish Farms Supply Chain is seeking to fill the role of Global Balancing Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for daily execution of service and at risk Non-Value Added (NVA’s - third party warehouse to warehouse transfers) Reporting to the Team Lead, Deployment, this is a role that requires the ability to multitask and keep a high performance-pace while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • College or University certificate or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & demonstrated team player;
  • A solid understanding of inventory management practices;
  • Experience in JD Edwards, Cognos, and transportation management software would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work weekends if required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balancing our inventory within our network to minimize service issues to our Customers
  • Working with 3rd party warehouses and carriers to navigate any network constraints
  • Running the Service risk report to identify inventory to move from the warehouses
  • Executing NVA’s (Non-Value Added) for service
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
