Rockport is seeking an ASIC/FPGA Architect to shape the future of Rockport’s next-generation Networking products! You will collaborate with internal teams and partner with our external stakeholders while architecting and implementing large-scale high-speed FGPA/ASIC architectures while driving the development through the full product cycle from early product conception through to commercialization.

What You Will Do

• Architect and lead the implementation of large-scale high-speed FPGA/ASIC architectures
• Design, develop, and implement Rockport’s next-generation networking products
• Partner with stakeholders to understand and define requirements
• Support, mentor, and review the work of other design team members
• Contribute to the continual improvement and enhancement of our development methodologies
  

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design, verification, and implementation
• 3+ years of experience generating high-level specifications and design documents
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring role
• Proficiency with RTL design, debugging, and timing closure with Verilog or SystemVerilog, and UVM
• Experience with simulation and coverage tools
• Experience with networking technologies such as Ethernet, L2 & L3 network protocols, PCIe, etc.
• Must be eligible for government security clearance
