Formwork Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of carpentry, including formwork, framing, and most residential applications. The Carpenter must be able to read blueprints and have a working knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform layout for commercial and residential foundations
• Read blueprints and coordinate workers in an effective manner
• Material takeoffs, communicate with supervisor on material shortages
• Cut and install all formwork for footings, retaining walls, slab on grade, and Tilt-Up panels
• Inspect all work for deficiencies
• Experience in Tilt-Up Construction considered an asset
• Experience in residential renovations such as siding, decks, and finish carpentry considered an asset.
• Must have own reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
