About the Role:

We’re looking for a high energy, dependable, hard-working and experienced Forklift operator/ warehouse logistics floor associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate various material handling equipment and maintain clean and safe condition of equipment and surrounding work area
• Prepares and verify the accuracy of orders packed, picked and delivered, including product name and size, product code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity orders for shipping based on established procedures.
• Loading and unloading inventory in a safe manner into racks and trailers using lift trucks
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are precisely and accurately packed/wrapped accordingly
• Oversee inventory cycle counts, maintains inventory storage area, and occasionally participates in local area deliveries or pickups
• Perform inspections as part of the preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are understood and adhered to.

Qualification and Skills Required:

• Valid Ontario Certified Forklift license, with at least 1+ year operating experienced.
• Certified forklift operator with knowledge of pallet jacks, double reach truck & counterbalance
• Experienced operating in narrow aisle warehouse
• Possesses working knowledge and awareness of warehousing and equipment safety procedures. Raw material handling is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25 kgs) is a must.
• Ability to climb a 5 step ladder repeatedly.
• Can work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday standard business hours
• Ability to be flexible in regard to shift coverage when called upon
• Strong organizational and communicative skills
• Ability to perform in fast pace environment.
