Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU

• Possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a role of environmental and OHS coordinator
• Possess a college-level diploma in a recognized discipline
• Have recognized working experience in a manufacturing environment in a unionized environment
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with a known ability for working with computerized systems
• Possess excellent French and English written and spoken skills
• Be a team player and a skilled communicator and demonstrate autonomy and initiative

Your responsibilities

• Participate in the identification, analysis, and assessment of risks
• Follow up on corrective actions
• Participate in maintaining the “Culture Zero Injury” program
• Promote an OSH culture and a safe work environment
• Review processes and / or workstations to improve ergonomics
• Support managers in preparing accident investigation reports
• Participate in the joint OHS committee and follow up on files
• Participate in maintaining ISO certifications
• Coordinate the development and drafting of procedures related to OHS processes
• Coordinate and provide training to new office and plant employees
• Support the management of work accident files (CNESST)
• Respond to all requests from the corporation
• Support production managers in the application of OHS rules and processes
• Take charge of all aspects related to the environment
