We are looking for an experienced embedded software developer to support the design and implementation of new embedded features for our next-generation switchless networking products. The Embedded Development team continues to develop leading-edge networking technology while working with some of the best technologies and people in the industry. What You Will Do

• Collaborate with the development, verification, and design teams to design and implement embedded software features on new and existing hardware platforms
• Create design documentation from high level system requirements
• Perform software integration and lab debugging
• Provide mentorship to all members of the Embedded Development team
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our software development methodologies
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years of embedded C/C++ software development experience in a Linux environment
• Proficient with version control systems like Git, Mercurial or SVN
• Experience generating detailed design documentation from product specifications
• Knowledge of device drivers and other low-level software development
• Detailed knowledge of L2/L3 networking and network protocols like NETCONF, RESTCONF and SNMP
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl or TCL
• Must be eligible for government security clearance
