Valo is an experienced Telecommunications company providing professional services throughout western Canada.Our Telecommunications team is growing, and we are looking for competent, dedicated, and experienced Driller / Locators, focused on supporting the delivery of quality network services to our customers in the Red Deer region.This position will be involved both project and operational activities. Our team operates on the ability to provide cross-functional training, so we are seeking forward-thinking staff that is open to cross-training in the Telecommunication environment.What You Will Need:

• Directional drilling/locator experience in telecom construction or similar
• Basic knowledge of telecom and fiber optic installation
• Experience with Ditch Witch and Vermeer machines
• Experience in small tool operation, and cable placement
• Interpretation of plans, diagrams, and locates
• Communicate with team members on preparation and project coordination
• The ability to operate in all weather conditions
• Willing to work long hours and travel when required
• Safety-conscious work ethic
• Willingness to assist the team in any capacity is a major asset

SHIFT INFORMATION:

• Up to 10-hour working day
• 11 days on 3 days off rotation
