Position Summary:

As a dispatcher you will ensure the day-to-day commitments to our customers are executed as promised. Your ability to find solutions and develop relationships will play a key role in achieving customer loyalty, driver retention and profitable business growth. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven and customer focused, detail orientated and strive to ensure customer commitments are executed.

What You’ll do at Griffin:

• Setting up daily dispatch for both Full Truckload and LTL operations in Truckmate (TMW)
• Establish a good working relationship with operators and clientele
• Ensure all daily dispatch activities are carrier out in a timely manner and reporting is complete
• Work with Custom Brokers to provide border clearance

• Work with Senior Operations Team to ensure that communication is priority for scheduling
• On-call dispatch – split among the team

What you’ll Bring to the Team:

• Previous Dispatch experience with working knowledge of Cross Border shipments
• Previous experience with Full Load flat Deck and LTL Shipment dispatch both Canada and the US
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a composed manner
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Own Transportation is required

Salary: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
