The Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Digital Marketing Specialist to join our collaborative remote marketing team. We work within North American time zones so we can easily meet live on video and achieve more together.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, executing and optimizing the company’s B2C digital marketing campaigns. Proficiency in email marketing, social media marketing, website management and reporting is a must along with knowledge of a wide range of B2C digital marketing practices, concepts, and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing campaigns across various channels, such as email and SMS marketing, content creation, social media, and digital advertising.
  • You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand’s online presence and growing our customer base to achieve brand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external copywriters, and designers to develop engaging content and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Write persuasive and personalized copy for marketing materials like emails, ads, blog posts, and website content to effectively convey key messages, value propositions, and benefits.
  • Create and design on-brand content and marketing materials that engage new customers and bring value to existing ones.
  • Set up and manage drip campaigns and triggered email sequences to deliver targeted content based on customer behaviour and actions, ensuring personalized and timely communication to nurture leads and drive engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends, as well as analyzing competitor insights to position our brand and highlight key differentiators in the marketplace.
  • Analyze and monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in business related field.
  • You have 2+ years of proven experience in Digital Marketing in a multi-channel or online retail environment.
  • Experience with all marketing elements, including traditional and digital marketing such as email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, SEO and PPC advertising, to drive online visibility, website traffic, and lead generation.
  • A deep understanding of target audience, industry trends, emerging technologies and marketing objectives.
  • You know how to create and share remarkable content and reach audiences at scale.
  • Demonstrable experience in market research methods and marketing data analytic tools such as analytics platforms, A/B testing, and customer feedback and believe in measuring the performance of your activities to optimize for better results.
