Big Block is the most efficient way to build housing supply in the Prairie Provinces. As a development partner for community-minded organizations, we are advancing the way multi-unit and mixed-use housing options are built in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia. Our streamlined process for shovel readiness, integrated design, and advanced construction expands capacity and unlocks opportunities to build turn-key residential buildings in half the time, with no risk, and no change orders.

With each project, we help leaders of community-minded organizations build internal capacity and share powerful stories around responsible housing development, so they can efficiently and effectively stabilize and uplift the lives of underserved individuals through adequate, affordable, accessible, suitable, and appropriate housing. We share our expertise from concept to completion – ensuring developments embody sustainability for generations to come.

We are looking for an exceptional Design Manager who will lead the design team as we seek to build communities at full throttle. The Design Manager plays a fundamental role in leading and overseeing all design activities required for construction.
