What you will do:

Reporting to the Controller, the Credit Manager will be responsible managing a portfolio of overdue accounts and recover delinquencies from consumers. This includes managing the credit sub ledgers as well as preparing, administering, and analyzing financial information to ensure timely and accurate financial decision making. Duties will include:

• Ensure the collection of payments from overdue accounts in a timely and professional manner.
• Negotiate and re-structure acceptable re-payment plans of past due accounts
• Correspondence to members with overdue accounts and recovery of delinquencies from customers.
• Equity administration in accordance to Co-op by-laws and board directives.
• Ensure superior customer service is delivered at all times to all customers, both internal and external.
• Maintaining confidentiality and conformity to the Privacy Act and privacy policy.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

• Extensive knowledge of credit and loan application and administration.
• Education in finance or experience within a credit or financial position.
• Have knowledge of Small Claims Court process.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
