About this opportunity

Are you a Software Intern who would like to join a software development team responsible for developing and testing 5G virtualized digital unit software? Do you like to focus on designing, modeling, and implementing for Cloud Radio Access Networks? Do you like working with the latest cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm? We have a great opportunity for you in a fast-paced, highly collaborative technical environment.

What you will do

• You’ll be part of a software module team which is responsible for systems design, software development and test
• You get to participate in defining software and performance for a real time product and specifying the functional allocation between software and hardware
• Developing code for production, unit test and automated test software
• You will be completing required documentation related to design and test work

You will bring

• Some knowledge of embedded systems and/or wireless networks
• Some experience in Real-time operating systems and Software Object-Oriented Programming
• Some experience in operating systems, kernel and driver development
• Some development experience with C and C++, JAVA, Python
• Experience with Git and Gerrit
• Working knowledge of Linux as a development environment
• Currently working towards a B.Sc., MSc or Ph.D. degree in a relevant area
• Ability to solve problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• The motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
• The people skills required to providing effective communication building strong relationships internally as well as externally
• The understanding of team strategies and objectives

You might also have:

• An understanding of Cloud infrastructure components
• Some knowledge of using makefiles in a build environment and test infrastructure for CI/CD
• Some experience in creating test automations
• Shell scripting

This position reports directly to the Product Development Leader
