Trimac Transportation is currently looking for Professional Class 1 Local Company Truck Drivers for our Dry Bulk operation in Victoria, BC or Nanaimo, BC.

Class 1 Driver Pay:
  • Hourly pay:$28.53 per hour for local runs (under 100 miles)
Company Driver Hours:
  • 36-hour restart weekly
  • Sometimes 2 days off in a row but not guaranteed
  • Monday-Sunday
  • 4-12 hour shifts
  • Afternoon and evening shifts
Job Details:
  • Commodity: Dry Bulk
  • Pick-up/Drop locations: Victoria and Nanaimo, BC
  • Delivery locations: Vancouver Island
  • 1-year Class 1 Driving Experience required
  • 1 year Super B Experience Preferred
  • Pneumatic tanker experience preferred

Minimum Hiring Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License
  • 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
  • No previous driving record conviction involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances in the past7 years.
  • No operator’s license suspensions within the previous 3 years involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
  • Not involved in a major preventable accident in the past 3 years
  • No involvement in a preventable rollover or fatality crash within the previous seven 7 years
  • No more than 2moving convictions in the past 3 years.
