OVERVIEW:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be a part of our growing Sales Team. You will be working individually and as a team to support our Account Executives and Sales Representatives. You will be responsible for the outbound efforts of generating qualified leads by using different tools, conducting your own research, and contacting potential customers. Ultimately, you will be focusing on lead generation and qualification to ensure a full pipeline for our Sales Team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Researching, prospecting and qualifying leads to source new sales opportunities across North America
  • Developing & Executing outbound campaigns including emails and cold/warm calls to the construction industry
  • Identifying and connecting with new construction project opportunities. You will be responsible to capture their attention and qualify them in a short time frame, requiring resilience and assertiveness
  • Report to Sales Management weekly on progress being made with new and existing leads
  • Identifying new tactics, strategies, and market segments for Giatec to pursue that can lead to new growth opportunities

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Up to 3 years of Sales experience (experience with CRM systems, cold calling, prospecting etc);
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken & written in English. Other languages would be considered an asset;
  • Capable of communicating technical and business concepts;
  • Proven ability to capture the attention of prospects over the phone and qualify opportunities;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to be proactive and identify creative solutions;
  • Positive attitude and passion for work, life, and continuous learning;
  • Goal-driven, independent and self-starter. Excited by working in a scale-up environment where results are expected, appreciated, and well rewarded.
