The Job:

Are you our next Baler? Reporting to the Logistics and DC Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organized individual to work in our warehouse area to receive, move and package donations for recycling shipment using forklifts and mechanical baling equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

· Operating the power forklift and balers

· Receiving incoming product from other Goodwill locations.

· Moving product to specified locations for either storage or recycling processing.

· Loading donated goods into the recycling baler to ensure quality production of baled goods.

· Maintaining recycling baler and power-jack or other machinery related to the donation process.

· Providing internal and external customers with world-class customer service.

What you bring to the table:

· A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

· Previous work experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.

· Minimum age of 18 or older.

· Forklift ticket is an asset.

· The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

· The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.

· The ability to regularly lift excess of 10 kilograms (22 pounds) and perform physical work on a continual basis.

· You deliver amazing customer service by going above and beyond for all Goodwill customers.

· You demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill’s mission & core purpose.

· You have an open and honest attitude while making moral decisions.

· You recognize the great efforts of fellow Team Members through genuine recognition activities.

· You contribute to a welcoming & accepting work environment by showing respect at all times.

· You hold yourself and fellow Team Members accountable in their roles and for their contributions to Goodwill’s mission & core purpose.

· You continuously look to improve yourself and the organization in any aspect including but not limited to processes, communications, tasks and customer experience.
