Rockport Networks is looking for a highly skilled FPGA Designer to design our core IP from the ground up. A person who can design FPGA’s for high-speed ethernet based products and find innovative solutions for challenging problems. You will be innovating with our Design team designing our next generation switchless networking products.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement high speed, data path functions within programmable logic devices
• Design advanced subsystems and features from basic concepts
• Specify, design, verify, and lab test hardware (ASIC/FPGA) networking product
• Bring your ideas, knowledge, and expertise to a small team of designers
• Collaborate with team members in our Kanata office, once in a while
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years core ASIC/FPGA design experience
• Extensive RTL design experience in SystemVerilog and/or Verilog
• Strong knowledge of UVM methodologies
• Hands-on experience designing SoCs & FPGAs with high-speed embedded processors
• Expert knowledge of wired networking technologies specifically, Ethernet and PCIe
• Must be eligible for government security clearance
