Job content

• Working with extrudate recipes
• Identifying and sourcing innovative products from suppliers
• Ongoing modification and improvement of existing recipes
• Work closely with the Process technologist
• Impact assessment of extrudates on Final Product
• Working alongside Leeds team
• Support entire R&D team in attaining short-term and long-term development goals. Adapt to evolving scientific priorities
• Provide written and verbal reports of research activities.
• Ensure that strict hygiene and food safety standards are met
• Conduct production test runs
• Develop in-process and finished product specification
• Generating ingredient statements and nutritional information
• Development of recipes alongside customers
• Packaging of samples for customers
• Sourcing of ingredients
