Our Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing a variety of financial data analytical work, accounts receivable/payable management and assisting the Finance Department with daily accounting duties. Some additional expectations of this role include:

  • Gathering data from various sources to use for analysis and reporting;
  • Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable management;
  • Supporting month-end close and reporting, including preparation of financial statements and variance analysis;
  • Assisting with internal and external reporting requirements, government remittances, etc.
  • Preparing various GL reconciliations;
  • Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts;
  • Improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management;
  • Performing gross margin analysis;
  • Preparing budgets;
  • Providing analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management;
  • Providing input and helping implement best practices in finance operations; and
  • Providing financial models and forecasting.

The successful candidate must be a professional, success-driven, self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. They are solutions driven, demonstrating excellent analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skills. They will demonstrate attention to accuracy and detail, as well as strong critical-thinking skills. They will bring with them strong oral, writing, editing, proofreading and presentation skills along with an ability to collaborate with diverse team members, customers, and vendors to deliver high-quality support. Given the need to manage multiple and evolving projects, excellent time management and organizational skills will be required. Knowledge of various financial management platforms, strong knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is essential.


A candidate with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields, along with post-secondary training in Business/Commerce is preferred. A CPA designation is an asset. Proficiency in English is essential, and bilingualism is an asset.
