As a result of growth Dematic has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst at our Mississauga, ON office, reporting to the Director of Finance, Canada. This position requires a strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work under deadlines while maintaining data integrity and the ability to work with multiple teams covering a wide variety of responsibilities. Dematic employees working remotely from another Dematic location would not be required to relocate for this opportunity.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Prepare monthly reporting books, including commentary and analysis of performance versus forecast, budget and prior year for Canadian entity.
  • Cost center and headcount budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support CS business including monthly forecasting, reporting and analytics.
  • CS Order intake forecast and reporting including as sold gross margins and new business profitability analytics.
  • Consignment inventory management.
  • Monthly commission calculations.
  • Perform month end closing processes and account reconciliations including revenue recognition and accrual calculations.
  • Assist with cash forecasting activities.
  • Parent company reporting
What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 5-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle or BI is an advantage.
  • Self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem solving.
  • Very organized, collaborative, and quick learner with high attention to detail and ability to work independently
