STATUS: Tempoaray full-time (approximately 8 months)
FTE: 1.0
ANTICIPATED START DATE:As soon as possible
HOURS OF WORK:
8 hours shift - Rotation
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintains filing system by providing filing and retrieval services .
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school graduation plus additional courses of up to six months or equivalent such as keyboarding and records management;
  • Ability to file material in alphabetical/numerical order;
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel programs;
  • Must take the medical terminology course according to the set deadline;
  • Ability to set priorities;
  • Effective communication skills and ability to treat patients, visitors, etc. with courtesy;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
