Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Farm Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various daily operations on our commercial broiler chicken farm, contributing to the overall success of our operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily tasks related to the care and maintenance of monitoring flock health.
• Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of chicken housing facilities to maintain a healthy environment for the birds.
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Participate in the implementation of biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
• Support farm infrastructure maintenance, including repairing equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on a farm or with poultry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of animal welfare principles and a commitment to upholding them.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the farm location.
