We are a small family-owned farm in the heart of Pitt Meadows. We are looking for a farm hand to help with many aspects of running the farm, from planting and harvesting, weeding and watering. No experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are a must. **Agricultural experience considered an asset**. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds. This is a permanent, part-time position, with the opportunity for growth and advancement.

Duties:

• Backpack Spraying
• Planting
• General farm work (repair fences, gates and other farm structures)
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of farm property
• Examine produce for quality & prepare for market
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or management as needed

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• The ability to take direction and at times be self starting
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a keen eye for attention to detail
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks
• Capable of sitting, standing and walking throughout the entire shift

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
