In the position of Excavator Operator, we would ask you to do the following:

• Operate heavy equipment, clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, secure special attachments to equipment
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment
• Execute high volume production
• Fine grading and finishing
• When required, assist other operators, labourers, and trades
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment
  

Here Are a Few Of The Attributes And Experience You Need To Be Successful In This Position

• You have 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
• CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 are required
• Must be able to work in tight/congested work areas.
• Must be comfortable working near overhead powerlines and underground utilities
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English
• You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal
