Our Specialized Recruiting Group, a Division of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Full Time Estimator in the Structural and Steel Industryon behalf of our Windsor client.

Responsibilities for an Estimator include:

• Preparation of work to be estimated by gathering proposal documentation such as; blueprints, specifications and other related documents.
• Provide identification in proposal for required labor, material and time requirements.
• Identify discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Presentation of prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical data.
• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
• Close consultation with the client in accordance with corporate standards
• Assist Project Managers with purchasing in accordance to allow figures used within estimates.

Required Experience for an Estimator includes:

• 3+ years of experience in an estimating role in the Structural Steel or fabrication industry preferred.
• Direct experience with steel processing with an understanding on metal fabrication and installation methods an asset
• AutoCAD and Tekla Structures skills would be additional asset
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to implement and follow related corporate policies and procedures

Hours and Compensation for an Estimator:

• Day shift
• Pay Range - Flexible depending on experience
