Your challenge!

Reporting to the Estimator Supervisor, the Estimator’s mission is to support the Sales team in the development of product selling prices, taking into account manufacturing costs, volume, logistics costs and any other condition that may affect profitability.

Also, your good knowledge of the manufacturing process and the business sectors allows you to establish an adequate and rigorous pricing for our customers. Finally, you have a key role in managing our various discount programs and you continually adapt to internal/external changes in order to make the product offering as profitable as possible and to effectively meet the needs of the Sales Department.

Your individual responsibilities

  • Establish pricing with rigor and impartiality
  • Validate and process pricing information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain prices
  • Enforce business rules
  • Make the product offering as profitable as possible
  • Identify exception situations and ensure that you involve your supervisor
  • Accurately and diligently perform your work in accordance with the business objectives set forth by your manager
  • Organize all of your activities to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of the Sales Department
  • Adapt your work methods according to internal and external needs and changes
Your experiences and strengths

  • Studies in business administration (DEC or BAC)
  • Between 1 and 5 years of experience in the industry
  • Excellent expertise in the manufacturing process and a good knowledge of the business sectors
  • Unparalleled rigor in achieving the required deliverables
  • The ability to address issues and problems by putting forward solutions
  • Ability to quickly grasp customer needs
  • Willingness and ability to satisfy the needs of current and future customers
  • Ability to accompany and advise business partners in the analysis of their needs and the search for solutions
  • The ability to act and react quickly while handling several requests at the same time
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software (an asset)
