About the position:

Full-time position. We are seeking a Wind Turbine / Solar Technician (with 1-2 years wind experience) for wind turbine maintenance and solar installation throughout the province of Nova Scotia.

Candidate must:

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to work comfortably and safely from heights (300 ft or more)
• Fall Arrest certification and high-angle rescue (can be provided)
• Wind turbine technician certification or 1-2 years wind experience
• Willingness to learn, travel and work flexible hours
• Have a "can do" and positive attitude
• Have a significant electrical and or mechanical background
• Ability to drive and handle a truck and trailer safely
• Experience with or willingness to learn new skills such as heavy equipment operating (Forklift, Excavator, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms)

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dartmouth, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Wind: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver’s License (required)
