We are seeking a highly motivated Web Developer to join our team. This is a full-time position and will be primarily focused on WordPress and Shopify development.Please review the required skills and responsibilities carefully before submitting your resume:

Responsibilities

The proposed role will require strong critical thinking skills to help evolve our service offerings. This role will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain clients’ WordPress and Shopify websites

• Develop custom functionality to meet the needs of our clients

• Develop code in keeping with established processes and standards

• Effectively communicate with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions

• Provide input to creative & user experience counterparts, acting as a sounding board for new concepts and proposals

• Using a GIT repository to check-in and out code, issue push and pull requests

• Adhere to and contribute to the company coding standards and best practices in a collaborative and scientific manner

• Implement and uphold QA standards to deliver flawless user experiences

• Manage multiple deadlines and provide strategic initiatives and solutions

Qualifications and Experience

• Must have agency experience

• Minimum of 3 years of web development experience

• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of WordPress development

• Minimum 1 year of Shopify development

• BS or Diploma in software development, computer science, or related field

Work Environment

• Open-concept office environment, based out of Barrie, ON

• Remote working options available

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $44,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
