***The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 7:00am – 5:00pm. ***

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in our organization by leading and executing the overall operations of our warehouse which supports our 7 store locations across BC. Taking both a hands on and strategic approach, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including managing a team of amazing people, managing inventory and fulfillment, and managing the delivery of products to our locations. Some key responsibilities include:

• Manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the Warehouse located at the corporate head office, including setting direction for daily tasks, providing in the moment coaching to team members, and taking a hands-on approach to leadership within the department to empower your team to excel
• Oversee and execute inventory management including reviewing inventory levels, forecasting inventory needs, tracking back orders and overstock items, and inspecting shipments for quality assurance
• Act as a business partner with our 7 store locations by building strong relationships with our management team, maintaining stock based on seasonal trends, high demand items, and promotions, maintaining a high fulfillment rate for orders, and delivering products in a timely manner
• Develop, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for the warehouse operations to make sure we are hitting our goals and creating a positive impact for our store operations
• Inspire and lead team members through onboarding, coaching, mentoring and performance management
• Find efficiencies and opportunities to better leverage the warehouse operations to contribute to the overall vision and mission of Nature’s Fare. Making recommendations on strategic opportunities to the management team and executing necessary action items
• Manage and maintain warehouse equipment as well as appropriate training associated with equipment. Ensure the health and safety of team members working and/or entering the warehouse by leading and managing policies in the department while working in collaboration with HR

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years in a similar role
• Management experience needed
• Strong knowledge in logistics and/or operation management
• Education in logistics or operational management considered a perk, but not needed
• Strong technical background with ability to work in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)

YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW THAT:

• This role may require travel to all 7 store locations
• This role may require weekend or overtime work from time to time
