We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Lead Hand to join our Warehouse Team.

Hours:

- 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide direct supervision on site, to warehouse employees and their activities of the assigned shift.
- Provide warehouse management with end of day handover information.
- Coordinate material transfer to production.
- Monitor in- process warehouse operations and ensure that all warehouse employees are following SOP’s.
- Provide possible improvement in workflow and equipment management to Warehouse Manager.
- Lead components of the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Conduct inventory report when required by both customer and PNP; perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered; ensure warehouse employees are made aware of all known or foreseeable health or safety hazards in the working area.
- Check and help maintain equipment such as forklifts, reach stackers and pallet jacks.
- Provide leadership support and advice to warehouse employees.
- Execute daily operational tasks provided by Warehouse Manager.
- Escalate operational or personnel issues to the Warehouse Manager.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prevent losses and damages by reporting abnormal activity and suspicious findings.
- Offer suggestions for process improvement when identified.
- Perform quality check on products received.
- Coordinate complete cleanup of entire facility.
- Manage special projects as required.
- Other related duties as specified by Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse environment.
- Minimum 1 year of supervision experience managing hourly employees.
- Forklift certification is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Have practical experience in warehouse environment.
- Resolving differences without conflict.
- Willing to take responsibility for the day-to-day task.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Warehouse Management System and ERP system is an asset.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting with a minimum 20kg on a regular basis.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task effectively.
