At our Church & State Oliver location， we believe in empowering our employees to share their knowledge of our wines, vineyards and history in their own words. We grow 85 acres of 15 different kinds of grapes including white and red. We focus on premium and ultra premium wines by producing 2 brands : Lost Inhibition and Church & State wines. We are looking for a vineyard worker who can drive the tractor to join in our team.

Job Description:

• Directly working with all farm equipment (Sprayer, edger, mower, plough)
• Driving tractor and daily maintenance of tractor.
• Equipment maintenance for farming tools such as sprayers, edger, pruners. •
• All general vineyard duties including but not limited to: pruning, tying, shoot positioning, canopy maintenance, fruit thinning, picking and planting or other duties as requested by, or in conjunction with the Vineyard operations team.
• Repairing wires and poles, hoses of irrigation
• Other works assigned by the Head Winemaker and assistant of vineyard manager.

The candidate will have:

• Experience in vineyard works and irrigation management,
• Experience in vineyard mechanical works (operating and maintenance),
• Valid driver license and is able to drive and maintain tractor
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and able to work in all weather conditions,
• Ability to work long hours during peak seasons,
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Must be fluent in English and knowledge in Spanish would be an asset.
• Must be able to work in team and alone,
• Strong attention to details
