We are currently hiring for a Unix Systems Administratorwho will be responsible for the technical development, quality assurance, installation and support of complex products and services, including operating systems (AIX/LINUX), system software, and system hardware, over a variety of technical architectures on-premises or Cloud.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Demonstrated experience in SAP package solution implementation tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP HANA and HANA System Replication.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP enterprise architecture and design.
• Participate in architecture design and reviews
• Participate in application migrations from on-premises to the Cloud.
• Administer virtualized environments (PowerVM/Cloud).
• Automate manual support and maintenance activities to aid in system management continuous improvement.
• Install Operating System software, upgrades, maintenance fixes/patches, and third-party software applications following industry standards.
• Perform data gathering, debugging, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Participate in all data center hardware installations.
• Support and work with consultants/technicians to correct any hardware/OS problems that may arise. (PowerVM/Cloud)
• Provide technical expertise on projects.
• Participate in all areas of analysis, quality assurance, and performance tuning with the project team
• Data Storage Management.
• Develop and maintain Technical Recovery Plans for systems, databases, applications and participate in backup processes.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises to validate documented procedures.
• Participate in a rotational 24-hour on-call support.
  

What You Will Bring To Our Team

• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant work experience is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a UNIX/LINUX based systems administration role
• Experience supporting SAP ERP, ECC, DB2 and SAP HANA DB is considered an asset
• Ability to administer Cloud and on-premises environments to ensure their availability, reliability, security, and integrity.
• Able to collaborate with other IT functional areas and project teams to implement, deploy, and maintain cloud and on premises solutions.
• Able to work closely with IT Security and Center of Excellence teams to implement industry best practices.
