We are currently looking for a Truck Driverto join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Operating trucks safely and professionally to transport and deliver goods and materials to and from facility (mostly local within the GTA, some Ottawa).
• Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, logs, sheets, and incident reporting.
• Perform general physical activities in order to load/unload, sort/move products.

• Execute delivery in an efficient, safe and client focused manner. Report delays or issues as they arise in a timely manner.
• Maintaining records of pickup and deliveries and obtaining necessary signatures/receipts.
• Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices.
• Tracking all time and all distance travelled in performing assigned duties.
• Load truck and ensure load is secure with co-driver/helper.
• Upkeep and cleaning of the trucks, warehouse and equipment used.
• Accurately manage the information contained on daily delivery trips.
• Effectively maneuvers through the company retail/warehouse management system to proficiently perform specified duties.
• Maintaining all required certifications in line with Health & Safety, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Full G Licence required.
• Safe driving record validated by a Driver’s Abstract that is valid within the past 30 days.
• 3-5 years professional driving experience preferred.
• Able to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Positive attitude and collaborative with exceptional communication skills.
• Home/client site delivery experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving and criminal record.
• Knowledge of Excel and Outlook is preferred.
• Able to work Monday – Friday (with flexibility for OT).
