Librestream is looking for a System Administrator (SysAdmin) which will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of corporate and cloud information systems. Strong technical skills and experience in implementing enterprise-class infrastructure is required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with managing corporate IT infrastructure and public cloud services

• Effectively communicate with and support internal users

• Assist with backup and disaster recovery systems

• Manage internal user accounts

• Assist in managing vendor relationships and contracts

• Develop/follow procedures for security standards and policies

• Able to clearly communicate technical information and details in non-technical terms

• Identify risks and escalate to management appropriately

• Liaise with management and support teams to assist in issue resolution

• Assist in scoping and costing of projects

• Assist with software updates and deployments

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A relevant post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent experience

• 5 years of experience in the IT field

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and configuring domain controllers

• Knowledge of Linux and web servers

• Experience with Identify and Access Management (IAM)

• Experience with public cloud computing (IaaS) such as Azure and AWS

• Experience with DevOps/SRE technologies, solutions and processes such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Knowledge of implementation of technical controls for security and privacy

• Knowledge of storage architectures and systems and virtualization

• Experience with network administration and network architecture

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and services (firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, WiFi, DNS, DHCP)

• Experience working with software development teams

• Experience with scripting and automation in languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash.

• Experience with containerization tools/solutions such as Docker or Kubernetes

• Experience with desktop support

• Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Microsoft 365, and Office 365 administration

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Work well under pressure with short timelines
