Interested?
The Summer Student Control Systems will support the day to day administration, support and maintenance of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain a comprehensive and centralized ICS applications list for the purposes of work & threat management processes.
• Assist in the ICS application update processes in response to scheduled, out of band security patches and hotfixes ensuring that there is limited disruptions to normal operations.
• Conduct user account provisioning as it relates to ICS systems and applications.
• Develops procedures and checklists as required to assist in meeting the obligations defined in company policies.
• Sustain ICS related configuration & database files are backed up, recoverable, centrally stored and secure from unauthorized personnel.
• Contributes to architecture and design processes as they relate to incorporating data flow into corporate business solutions.
• Liaises with the Security Operations Center (SOC) as it monitors and identifies threats to safe and resilient operations.
• Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Post Secondary Education in Engineering or related field.
• A solid aptitude towards computing hardware and software.
• Adept at learning and applying new ideas and technology.
• Proficient in database management.
• An understanding of computer networks.
• Proficient in the use of PC’s and software including Excel, Word.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of PC’s and software including Excel, Word, Power BI, SharePoint.

Working Conditions

• The majority of the work is performed in an office environment.
• Travel may be required 10% of the time.
