a day in the life

Reporting to the Sr Manager Financial Systems, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst will act as a system administrator and lead the maintenance and development of the planning and reporting tools (Oracle). You will,

• Identify efficiencies related to business processes and provide insightful analysis with integration of financial systems for FP&A.
• Responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting systems (Oracle EPBCS & Oracle Analytics)
• Maintain metadata, hierarchies, end-user documentation and security to the various business groups.
• Support in long range planning (Oracle Strategic Modeling) and other ongoing cross-functional initiatives to provide system knowledge and highlight capabilities

qualifications

• University degree in any of the following fields; IT/MIS, finance, project management, or accounting
• 5-8 years professional work experience in a large multinational brand corporate environment in an IT or Finance/FP&A department
• Experience with Oracle or other large ERP systems is essential and understanding of system architecture
• Hyperion, Oracle or large financial planning software knowledge is required
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Demonstrates strong communication skills/can present to cross-functional teams and management including ability to summarizes complicated information in a simple and concise way
• Proactive, flexible, dependable and solution oriented
