Job Summary

Aecom Regina is hiring a Casual Civil Engineer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Provide functional planning engineering expertise on urban and rural projects in Saskatchewan.
• May serve as technical advisor on projects.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and designs for staff’s specific areas of expertise.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
• Preforms quality control review of designs, calculations and plans.
• Prepares and reviews technical reports.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience with road construction/operations, road materials knowledge and contract Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Valid driving license and access to personal vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• 20+ years’ experience with road construction/operations, road materials knowledge and contract administration
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, members of the public and contractors
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, tender forms and special provisions
• Ability to write weekly project progress report summarizing work to date
• Knowledge of Provincial safety legislation and requirements on a construction site
