Solution Centre Associate
The Solution Centre at BlueShore Financial is an extension of our Financial Spa in-branch experience. Our Solution Centre Associates are relied upon to engage and promote a full range of borrowing and investment options while maintaining our award winning service levels. The role is a good fit for a well-seasoned banking professional that can be a mortgage specialist one minute and provide investment advice the next.

Schedule: Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat (undetermined). One evening shift per week required.

Location: 1250 Lonsdale – Solution Centre
Key responsibilities of this role are:

• Provides service and sales across the four pillars of banking including borrowing, investments (may include mutual funds), insurance, and general banking. Refers to specialists and/or branch staff when required.
• Conducts outbound calls for a variety of sales and service initiatives aimed at business retention and growth.
• Grants mortgages, consumer loans and other credit applications within assigned lending limits. Promotes the sales of credit insurance. Makes appropriate recommendations to manager for credit above limits.
• Promotes and completes the sale for investment products (may include mutual funds). Makes referrals to investment specialists as required.
• **Ensures BlueShore Financial and Solution Centre service/sales standards are adhered to in order to enhance and maximize business opportunities with internal and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• **2-3 years of directly related financial services experience.
• Solid understanding of credit products and procedures with previous experience structuring and granting credit (including mortgages).
• **Mutual funds license is preferred.
