Minimum Level of Education: Construction Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent

Hours of work: 10 hours plus per day

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Weyburn, SK

Position Summary

We are seeking a Solar Site Superintendent that has experience in the construction of large-scale solar facilities for a project in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be required to travel and stay at site in remote locations for extended periods of time with LOA compensation provided.

Other responsibilities include:

· Strong knowledge of Civil Construction, Electrical Construction, and managing multiple sub-contractors at a site level.

· In dept understanding of the sequencing and rates of placement for multiple trades on the construction of an industrial scale solar facility.

· Ability to report and dialogue through the Microsoft suite such as outlook, excel, projects, etc. and can navigate a computer with ease.

· Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate

· Self-motivated, leader and able to direct a team to the safe, efficient successful completion of projects.

· 5+ years in a solar related position.

· 10+ years managing large scale multidiscipline construction projects.

· Local to Edmonton an asset.

· Experience leading a team.

· Experience in change management.

· Strong with developing and maintaining customer relations.

· Experienced in developing and adhering to a schedule.

· Strong reporting detail and presentation skills.

· Strong network of vendors and people with a solution-based approach.
