Job Summary:

You are a Skilled Labourer with experience in early heavy civil construction projects. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on facility installation, pipeline corridor construction, pipeline excavation and backfill, piling installation, MSE wall construction and ramp & road construction projects. Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks on the labour crew to support heavy civil operations
• Conduct ground work including shoveling, raking, pumping water, tampering, and dewatering
• Provide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work area
• Act as a spotter and flagger for heavy equipment operators

Qualifications:

• Must have previous civil labour experience in an industrial setting
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Must be able to complete a Functional Fitness examination
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Must possess valid CSTS 2020, First Aid, WHIMIS, Ground Disturbance, H2S, and Wildlife Awareness certifications (training may be provided)

Work Conditions:

• Project based role in Ft. McMurray, AB
• 14/7 schedule working 10-12 hours per day, lots of overtime potential
• Site based camp provided
• Travel Allowance provided
• Benefits provided by CLAC
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
