Position: Shop Labourer / Turbo Rebuild Technician

Salary: $21-23/hr

Location: South Edmonton Shop

Permanent Full-time Positions

We are currently looking to fill 3 positions in an industrial equipment repair shop - This position will be working in the Turbo Rebuild Division. The role will require candidates to disassemble turbos, inspect and replace parts, prep parts to be sandblasted or painted (cleaning/degreasing/taping/wrapping etc), assist with moving parts around the shop, and help the Mechanics and other trades. This position will involve a significant amount of physically lifting and moving parts (up to 50lbs) as well as walking/standing for the majority of the shift.

Key Duties:

• Assisting with Removal of Turbos
• Disassembly, inspection and replacement of worn or broken parts
• Preparing parts for painting, cleaning parts before and after blasting
• Using Forklifts and shop equipment
• Deburring, grinding, painting, and sandblasting small parts
• Loading/unloading trucks & assisting shipper/receivers.
• ensuring a safe and functional work environment

PPE Required: Steel-toed boots

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Mechanical repair or assembly: 1 year (preferred)
