Key Responsibility: The Senior Manager of Shareholder Planning and Control is responsible for managing and overseeing the corporate structure outside the main operating companies, managing shareholder personal structures, and optimizing financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the corporate structure outside the main operating companies.
• Ensure that dividends are declared and correctly flow through the right entities.
• Ensure that financial statements for all entities are done on a quarterly or monthly basis.
• Ensure that all entries are properly completed in a timely manner for all entities.
• Complete the filing of trust and tax returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure effective tax planning for all entities and assist the Director of Finance for the operating companies.
• Optimize corporate structures and fund flow.
• Participate in the planning and subsequent execution of restructuring projects as they come up.
• Provide credit-proofing advice.
• Provide estate planning input.
• Manage shareholder personal structures receiving income from operating entities.
• Manage personal holdcos and trusts to ensure dividends flow, secure cashflow, and taxes are properly planned for and met.
• Develop and maintain equity programs.
• Participate in the development of equity participation programs.
• Oversee future equity participation programs.

Qualifications/Education:

• CPA, CA required.
• 5-7 years’ experience at the senior manager or director level within public accounting, providing and overseeing tax planning, estate planning, and tax compliance services.
• Responsive and results-oriented nature, with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders to manage and deliver on expectations.
• Ability to manage complex corporate structures
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment with multiple priorities.
