Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies is recruiting for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, Orthopedics Assets Management for the Trauma and Joints business located in Markham, ON, Canada. This is a 14 month contract opportunity.

This position will act as a liaison between Commercial teams and the end-to-end supply chain organization to orchestrate the management of orthopedics assets for the Joints and Trauma businesses. Strategical thinking, ability to zoom in and zoom out and apply these skills to handle Trauma and Joints medical devices assets, will be the key to success.

This individual will work with internal and external partners to drive business decisions related to new investments and the optimization of under-utilized assets with the goal to improve sales, income, and cash flow.

The role collaborates with Sales/Marketing, Distribution/ loaner operations, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory & Quality teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to analytics strategy and data modeling via providing in depth insights gained from Commercial organization.
  • Develop data insights by putting data into business context to support management decision.
  • Lead optimization and pullback of Consignment assets using analysis of product, account, provincial and national turns.
  • Partner with commercial team in increasing utilization of underutilized in house and loaner assets, including optimizing contents of sets (BOMs).
  • Drive the reduction of new Capital and Inventory spend by identifying and action on redeployment of existing sets.
  • Partner with commercial organization on proactive product life cycle management to minimize impact on Inventory and SLOB. Actively support other profitability improvement initiatives
  • Lead monthly Asset management reviews (S&OP)
  • Lead or support project around assets management.
  • Provide key inputs in Business Planning Process.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering. Master’s degree is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience within Supply Chain or related function (e.g, Finance, Project Management)
  • Proven ability to partner with & influence internal and external partners to get results.
  • Strong eye for business & comfortable with financial concepts. Proven ability to transform data into business insights
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to effectively work with large amount of data and identify trends, gaps & opportunities
  • Solutions and results oriented attitude.
  • Agility and enthusiasm to learn
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, pivots) and comfortable using/learning SAP and Reporting tools

Preferred:

  • Exposure to the management of consigned devices is an asset.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Business or Finance.
